Capsule Presentation

Each capsule contains:
Mecobalamin JP 1500 mcg
Alpha Lipoic Acid USP 100 mg
Thiamine Hydrochoride IP 10 mg
Folic Acid IP 1.5 mg
Pyridoxine Hydrochoride IP 3 mg

The capsule contains some important component essential for body growth and maintenance such as in diabetic neuropathy and used to lower homocysteine levels and other vitamin deficiencies. Mecobalamin is an essential nutrient for neurons and is known as an energy vitamin and supports our immune system. Alpha-lipoic acid is a potent antioxidant which is used to reduce the free radicals, produced in diabetic persons and protects the neurons from oxidative stress. Pyridoxine enhances myelin sheath formation, and folic acid regulates amino acid metabolism.

Indications & Usage

  • Useful in anemia due to folic acid deficiency
  • Effective in numerous neurodegenerative disorders
  • Potentiates glucose uptake
  • Beneficial for a typical depression
  • Prophylaxis of hyperhomocysteinemia
  • Creates healthy blood cells
  • Reduces oxidative stress & promotes nerve health

About Composition

Mecobalamin:
  • Helps keep the nervous system and red blood cells healthy
  • Required for the formation of red blood cells and DNA
  • Important for protein metabolism
  • Retards ageing of the brain
  • Boosts nerve myelination
  • Decreases serum homocysteine levels

Alpha-Lipoic acid (ALA) is a natural antioxidant, identified as a catalytic agent for oxidative decarboxylation of pyruvate and α-ketoglutarate. ALA reduces oxidative stress and insulin resistance in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The association of N-acetyl cysteine (NAC), alpha-lipoic acid (ALA), is used for prevention and treatment of endometriosis. ALA could be used in prevention of diabetic embryopathy and premature rupture of fetal membranes induced by inflammation. ALA can be safely used for treatment of neuropathic pain and as a dietary support during pregnancy.

Thiamine or Vitamin B1 is a water soluble vitamin. It helps to convert carbohydrate into energy. It is essential vitamin for metabolism of glucose, and it plays a key role in nerve, muscle, and heart function. It is often called an anti-stress vitamin, it protects the immune system and helps to boost your mood.

Folic Acid is a type of B vitamin helps your body produce and maintain new cells, and also helps prevent changes to DNA that may lead to cancer. Folic acid is sometimes used in combination with other medications to treat pernicious, aplastic, or normocytic anemia.

Pyridoxine or Vitamin B6 Pyridoxine has been used to treats peripheral neuropathy caused by certain drugs such as isoniazid. It has also been used to treat certain genetic disorders such as xanthurenic aciduria, hyperoxaluria. It is one of the major vitamin required by red blood cells.
